It’ll be a weird new storyline involving the MK characters who are extremely evil and benevolently good (which are in reversed) that involving a virtuous Shao Kahn and his army of heroes going up against the so-called malevolent forces by the likes of Liu Kang, the incorruptiple Outer World Investigation Agency, and so much more. Well you figure it out.

Johnny Cage is still an egotistical actor only he leads a double life of crime, Sonya Blade & Jax ran their corrupt military organization, Stryker is a corrupt cop, and Kabal chooses to surgically enhance himself with cyber prosthetics to illegally win pit fights.
Kano would lead a rebellion against the armies of Outworld, Tarantula (instead of Scorpion but still uses the hook) would come back from Heaven to bring the ninja called Scorch (instead of Sub-Zero) to justice, Raiden’s a god of the underworld instead of thunder, Shang Tsung would be the main hero, and Goro, Kintaro, and Sheeva are virtuous shokan heroes along with Mutaro.
Kung Lao and Lui Kang are the evil monks instigating the whole Outworld tournament, Reptile’s the outsider of his clan who’s glad they’re gone, Kitana’s an evil queen along with her emperess mother Sindel who are tyranical rulers of edenia who cruelly enslave the Tarkatans. Baraka and Mileena lead the rebellion against them.
Cyrax, Sektor and Smoke used their robotics to work together and destroy their former clans and work together to create a cyber ninja clan
