Question by storehelper: is there any way to review activity on a Nintendo DS Lite (e.g. Logfile of system events with time/date)?
I want to limit my kids use of their DS. I fear they’re getting up at night and playing the units. I want to be able to review the activity on the system (I’m VERY tech savvy and a software developer myself)

Is there a system event file written? Is there some way to capture time/dates of bootups or stylus events (just about anything “human” will do.)

It doesn’t really matter because all ps3′s are pretty good and well built. Even the launch consoles. I would avoid the 120GB and 250GB (which is the same ps3 model, just different hard drive size) slims, as they are the most poorly built ps3 to date. The other slims are fine though.

But any PS3 with 4 usb plugs can run ps2 games though. The ones with 4 usb plugs are the 60GB, 20GB and half of the 80GB. Oh yeah, and the slims are very quiet. You can hardly hear it even if you put your ear up against it.

If you look at the price of the PS2 when it first came out then add on 7 years worth of inflation you would see it isn’t an outrageous price. And it’s impossible, you are a cheapskate and an idiot.

*The PS3 is 35 times more powerful than the PS2, and it’s games are on a different format that uses a smaller laser. So besides taking out all the insides of a PS3 and putting them in a PS2 case, which probably wouldn’t work and would ruin 2 perfectly good consoles, you won’t be able to play PS3 games on a PS2. My advice is to take advantage of the cheap games you can get for the PS2, save some money and when the PS3 is in your price range get one.

I want a Playstation 3 for Christmas but my mom says the only reason why not is because Playstation 2 games do not play on Playstation 3 and if they do I can get one. Im really counting on you guys!

I don’t believe PS2 games work on PS3. But PS1 games work on PS3. Sorry for the bad news….but I’m crossing my fingers for you, PS3 is awesome.
